Our beloved tri, Finn, has been experiencing more frequent and extended episodes. This morning I clocked it at 9 minutes from onset to end!

Since we've tracked the seizures to about once every 2 weeks (note, these are the ones we actually experience, I'm convinced that he has them more frequently based on his malaise at times), I want to put him on medication.

My research today tells me that diazepam/clonazepam work only short-term but one site stated that after 2 years of dosage the seizures in the dogs were considered 'clinically resolved.'

Also, since EF is defined as an 'exercise induced' condition, why does Finn seem to have his seizures in the morning after waking (before exercise)?
